KATHMANDU: The second meeting of the National Assembly today was adjourned without entering the agenda and has been postponed until Tuesday.

In the first session, lawmakers speaking during the special hour expressed disagreement over Prime Minister Balen Shah’s recent remarks made during Sunday’s House of Representatives meeting, leading to disruptions in the proceedings.

Following the uproar, National Assembly Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal adjourned the meeting for 20 minutes in an attempt to restore order.

However, as protests continued in the second session as well, Chair Dahal announced that the meeting had been postponed until 1:15 PM on Tuesday.
