Motorcycle rally demands release of Prasai

KATHMANDU: A motorcycle rally was held in Kathmandu on Sunday, demanding the immediate release of Durga Prasai.

The rally, organized by royalist supporters, gathered at Maitighar Mandala and proceeded to Bhadrakali, raising slogans against the government and calling for Prasai’s release.

Prasai was arrested on Monday, Feb 16, from his residence in Bhaktapur.

Participants of the rally, advocating for the restoration of a Hindu kingdom, also voiced anti-republican sentiments during the protest.
