KATHMANDU: With the general elections for the House of Representatives approaching, political activity has surged in Kathmandu Constituency No. 3.

Today, Nepali Congress candidate Ramesh Aryal conducted a grand door-to-door campaign in and around Ward No. 5 of Gokarneshwor Municipality.
The campaign began with a ceremonial prayer at the local Chamunda Bhagwati Temple, followed by extensive voter engagement. A significant number of party leaders and activists joined Aryal, reflecting strong grassroots support.
During the campaign, Aryal personally visited residents’ homes, listening to their concerns and urging them to back his candidacy. He assured voters of his unwavering commitment to local development, infrastructure projects, and livelihood issues.
Prominent party figures present included former MP and regional chair Santosh Chalise, Mayor and regional secretary Deepak Kumar Risal, along with elected local representatives and party workers. Supporters enthusiastically chanted “Jai Nepal” as they rallied behind Aryal, highlighting the high energy and public engagement fueling the election contest in the area.
The massive turnout and spirited participation during the door-to-door campaign have added a new dimension to the competitive electoral battle in Kathmandu-3.
