KATHMANDU: Karnali Yaks thrashed Lumbini Lions, chasing down a target of 157 runs in just 12.2 overs while losing only one wicket to register their first win of the season.

He scored an unbeaten 114 runs off just 41 balls, hitting 10 sixes and 6 fours.
Will Bosisto supported with an undefeated 29 runs off 20 balls including a six and two fours, while Priyank Panchal added 12 runs off 10 balls with a six and a four.
For Lumbini, only Sher Malla managed a breakthrough, picking up one wicket, as the rest of the bowling attack failed to make an impact.
Earlier, Lumbini, batting first, posted 156/8 in their 20 overs. Captain Rohit Paudel top-scored with 49 runs off 43 balls, including 4 fours and 2 sixes.
J.J Smith scored 23 off 14 balls with 2 fours and a six, Darshi Shrestha made 19 off 13 balls with four boundaries, and Ruben Trumplmann hit 29 off 14 balls, including 3 sixes and a four.
Sher Malla remained unbeaten on 7.
For Karnali, Nandan Yadav took 2 wickets, while Sompall Kami, Gulshan Jha, Mark Watt, Bipin Sharma, and Yuvraj Khatri shared one wicket each.
