According to the company, the collaboration aims to make its remittance services more effective while strengthening its relationship with customers.
IME said Saput’s strong popularity, especially through his original folk creations and socially conscious songs, makes him a fitting choice for the role.
Saput’s music is widely appreciated among Nepali audiences both at home and abroad, particularly among migrant workers. His songs often reflect the emotions, struggles, and aspirations of Nepalis working in global labor markets, resonating deeply with communities across villages, cities, and the diaspora.
Speaking at the agreement ceremony, Badri Katwal said Saput’s creative works, which portray social realities and connect emotionally with people, will add a unique identity to IME’s campaign.
He also emphasized that music serves as a powerful bridge between Nepal and its migrant workforce, helping reduce emotional distance and support workers abroad.
