Interestingly, audiences won’t see Manish on-screen this time. Speaking about his decision to stay behind the camera, Raut shared,
“Direction is a creative pursuit just like acting. I’ve acted before, and now I want to gradually gain experience in direction as well. I believe that understanding both crafts makes the journey more seamless.”
He emphasized that while he’s not a full-fledged director yet, gaining experience in direction will ultimately support his acting career.
With a supportive team and a compelling story, Raut said he felt inspired to contribute in a different department in Janai Harayeako Manchhe.
“Many actors dream of directing someday. I want to advance both acting and directing simultaneously. Audiences will definitely see me acting again in future projects,” he added.
Currently in post-production, the film is produced under the Paperclip banner and features a stellar cast including Bholaraj Sapkota, Keki Adhikari, Miruna Magar, Gaurav Pahari, Sushank Mainali, Riyar Rai, Bhavana Khapangi Magar, Rupesh Lama, and Suman Thapa, among others.
Janai Harayeako Manchhe promises to explore the emotional threads of human relationships, making it one of the most awaited Nepali films of the year.
