House sends alternative Finance Bill for clause-wise review
Also in the session, Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Ramnath Adhikari tabled the Nepal Veterinary Council (First Amendment) Bill.
KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives has forwarded the Alternative Development Finance Operation Bill, 2081 to the concerned committee for clause-wise discussion.
In today’s session, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel presented the proposal to send the bill to the committee, which was unanimously approved by the parliament.
Also in the session, Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development Ramnath Adhikari tabled the Nepal Veterinary Council (First Amendment) Bill.
Prior to that, Speaker Devraj Ghimire presented a proposal regarding changes in the membership of various thematic committees under the House, which was also endorsed.
Meanwhile, the House paid tribute to former MP Khagaraj Sharma, who was elected to the House of Representatives in 2048 BS from the CPN (UML) and passed away on Shrawan 5.
A condolence motion was passed in his honor.
The next meeting of the House of Representatives is scheduled for Shrawan 21 at 1:00 PM
