Govt extends constitution Amendment Task Force deadline to Mid-2083

KATHMANDU: The government has extended the deadline of the “Constitution Amendment Discussion Paper Task Force, 2082” until the end of Asar 2083 BS.

The decision was taken by the Council of Ministers meeting held on Friday at Singha Durbar, according to government spokesperson and Minister for Education and Sports, Sasmit Pokharel.

The Cabinet also decided to direct the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration to implement the report of the High-Level Raval Commission on investigation and protection of public and government land submitted in 2052 BS.

In another decision, the government appointed Ramesh Kumar Dhital of Sindhupalchok as the Chairperson of the Accounting Standards Board.
