KATHMANDU: Popular singer and model Durgesh Thapa’s song ‘Dushman Hereko Herai’ has crossed the historic mark of 100 million (one hundred million) views on YouTube.
After achieving this success in just five months of its release, the song has created a new wave in the music industry.
Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli extended his congratulations to Thapa via social media, acknowledging the song’s reflection of the evolving musical taste of Nepal’s youth. Writing on his official Facebook page, PM Oli stated, “Today’s generation is showing interest in music with a unique flavor, which is clearly reflected in the popularity of ‘Dushman Hereko Heryai’. Congratulations to Durgesh Thapa for reaching 100 million views.”
