All tickets sold out for NPL 2025 opening match
Another 3,000 seats have been allocated for officials, match authorities, and special guests.
KATHMANDU: All tickets for the opening match of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2025 have been sold out, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) confirmed.
The tournament is kicking off from today, and no tickets are available for spectators.
CAN has urged fans who could not secure tickets to avoid crowding the stadium and enjoy the match from home.
In a video message shared on social media, CAN Secretary Paras Khadka requested, “Spectators without tickets are kindly requested not to come to the stadium and create congestion.”
For the opening match, around 8,000 tickets were sold to the public, while an additional 2,000 tickets were reserved for players’ families, sponsors, and organizers.
Another 3,000 seats have been allocated for officials, match authorities, and special guests.
The second edition of the NPL will begin tomorrow at the Tribhuvan University Cricket Ground, featuring eight competing teams.
The inaugural match will see defending champions Janakpur Bolds take on Kathmandu Gurkhas at 4 PM.
