Gold prices hit new record, soars again

KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the Nepalese market soared to unprecedented heights today (Friday).

After trading at 138,600 rupees per tola on Thursday, the price surged by 700 rupees, reaching a record high of 139,300 rupees per tola.

Simultaneously, the price of Tejabi gold also witnessed a substantial increase.

As reported by the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders, the price of Tejabi gold rose by 700 rupees per tola, reaching 138,650 rupees per tola.

However, the price of silver experienced a slight decline, dropping by Rs. 5.

Currently, silver is trading at Rs. 1,720 per tola on Friday.

This significant rise in gold prices reflects dynamic shifts in the market and may have implications for investors and consumers alike.
