Gold prices surge again

KATHMANDU: Today, Thursday, gold and silver prices have climbed.

The price of Chhapawal gold, which was trading at 134,500 rupees per tola on Wednesday, rose by 2,000 rupees today to 136,500 rupees per tola.

Similarly, the price of Tejabi gold has climbed today.

The Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Federation reports that Tejabi gold is now trading for 135,850 rupees per tola.

However, the price of silver has risen by Rs 15 per tola.

Silver was at Rs 1,630 per tola on Wednesday, but is now trading at Rs 1,645 per tola.
