KATHMANDU: Pokhara International Airport, which was closed due to low visibility due to heavy rain, has resumed operations.

Dipendra Kumar Karna, the information officer of Buddha Air, confirmed that flights, which were suspended during this period, have now resumed their regular schedule.

Karna explained that there were no flights at the airport for the entirety of the four-day closure.

He further detailed that two days saw complete flight cancellations, while the remaining two experienced only partial operations.

The resumption of flights follows improved weather conditions in the region.

The closure was attributed to poor visibility caused by heavy rain and storms surrounding Pokhara.

During the airport’s closure, passengers had to seek alternative routes to their destinations.

However, with operations back to normal, travelers can once again rely on air travel for their journeys.
