Husband held for murdering wife

KATHMANDU: A incident unfolded in Tanahun as 35-year-old Jeet Bahadur Kumal, a resident of Byas Municipality-5 Sange, allegedly killed his 32-year-old wife, Sukmaya.

Reports suggest that Jeet Bahadur fatally struck Sukmaya with a machete during a domestic dispute on Saturday afternoon.

Unfortunately, Sukmaya succumbed to her injuries at the scene.

Upon receiving the report, law enforcement swiftly reached at the location and apprehended Kumal.

The District Police Office Tanahun has initiated an investigation into the motive behind the brutal act.
