CAN reschedules Nepal ‘A’ vs Ireland Wolves T20Is after rain disrupts opener
Originally planned to be held at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, the inaugural match had to be canceled due to adverse weather conditions.
KATHMANDU: Following a rain delay on Thursday, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has made adjustments to the schedule for the T20 International matches between Nepal ‘A’ and Ireland Wolves.
Originally planned to be held at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, the inaugural match had to be canceled due to adverse weather conditions.
The downpour rendered the pitch unplayable, forcing the cancellation of the highly anticipated match.
Nepal ‘A’ will face Ireland Wolves in a series of three T20Is and three ODIs.
Notably, Nepal’s senior squad recently won a two-day T20 series against Ireland Wolves.
In the second match, Ireland ‘A’ was defeated by 71 runs and in the first match too, Nepal defeated Ireland by 6 wickets.
