KATHMANDU: Today’s scheduled match at TU Cricket Ground between Nepal ‘A’ and Ireland Wolves has been called off due to rain.

The downpour rendered the pitch unplayable, forcing the cancellation of the highly anticipated encounter.

Nepal ‘A’, geared up for both T20 and ODI series against Ireland ‘A’, faced disappointment as the inclement weather disrupted the cricketing action.

With the series at stake, both teams were eager to showcase their skills, but nature had other plans.

In response to the cancellation, the Cricket Association Nepal (CAN) has assured fans and stakeholders that they are working on rearranging the match schedule.

Earlier, the senior team of Nepal won the second T-20 match against Ireland ‘A’.

In the second match, Ireland ‘A’ was defeated by 71 runs and in the first match too, Nepal defeated Ireland by 6 wickets.
