Literature Dadhiraj Subedi passed away

KATHMANDU: Renowned writer Dadhiraj Subedi has passed away.

Born in Dingla, Bhojpur in 2003, Sub edi breathed his last at 3:00 AM today.

He succumbed to cancer after undergoing treatment at Birat Medical College and Teaching Hospital, Budiganga, Morang.

Subedi was actively engaged in promoting Nepali language and literature, establishing Biratnagar as a hub of cultural and literary activities.

Having worked as an information officer at Purwanchal University for 12 years, Subedi authored around a dozen original works and edited more than 150 publications.

According to family sources, his cremation will take place at Paropakar Ghat in Biratnagar on Wednesday.

Subedi is survived by two sons, a daughter, and his wife.
