Krishna Prasad Sitaula registered the first candidacy

KATHMANDU: The joint candidate for the ruling alliance, Nepali Congress leader Krishna Prasad Sitaula, has declared his candidacy for the National Assembly elections.

Leader Sitaula registered his candidacy at the Koshi District Election Officer’s office in Biratnagar on Monday morning.

Sitaula supporters include Koshi state assembly member Pradeep Sunuwar and Himal Karki.

Sitaula, who was defeated in the last election by Rajendra Lingden of the RPP in Jhapa Region No. 3, is running again in the National Assembly election.
