KATHMANDU: The ruling partner CPN Unified Socialist Party has finalized its candidates for the National Assembly member elections.

According to the ruling alliance, the Unified Socialist Party has gained two seats.

The United Samajwadi Party has chosen to field Ghanshyam Rijal Bishwakarma of Dolakha in the Dalit quota of Bagmati and Savitri Malla of Dailekh in the women’s quota of Karnali from the two seats it has won.

Nominations for the National Assembly elections on Magh 11 (Jan 25) are being accepted today (Monday).
