Man held on the charge of raping a buffalo
He was caught raping a buffalo in the forest of Morang's Pathari Shanishchare Municipality-2.
KATHMANDU: One individual has been arrested on suspicion of raping a buffalo.
He was caught raping a buffalo in the forest of Morang’s Pathari Shanishchare Municipality-2.
It is assumed that the individual is from the district of Jhapa.
Criminal offenses are included under Chapter 18 of the Civil Code Act of 2074. Animal abuse is prohibited under Section 227 of the Act. No one should perpetrate animal cruelty, according to sub-section one of the same law.
Similarly, in sub-section 2 of the same section, it is said that a person who commits an offense under sub-section 910 will be imprisoned for up to two years and fined up to twenty thousand rupees, and if he commits or causes any other animal to be slaughtered, will be imprisoned for up to one year and fined up to ten thousand rupees.
