City to build stadium if govt provides land: Balen Shah

KATHMANDU: The mayor of Kathmandu, Balen Shah, has stated that he will take the initiative to develop a cricket stadium.

He remarked this after witnessing the Nepal-India cricket match in Sri Lanka.

Speaking about his experience watching the game in Sri Lanka, Balen stated that, aside from the land, it would not cost more than 80-90 crores to create a stadium like that game.
