Leopard discovered dead in Parbat

KATHMANDU: A leopard was discovered dead in the village of Ramjadeurali, Modi Rural Municipality-7, Parbat district.

The leopard was discovered dead this morning in a farmland near the village’s shrine.

The dead leopard was buried on the Division Forest Office grounds by police officers and Division Forest Office staff.

Nabaraj Baral, Chief of Office, stated that the three-year-old leopard may have perished a few days ago. The leopard, on the other hand, had no marks or wounds on its body.

In the previous fiscal year, nine leopards were discovered dead in Parbat, with two more saved alive.
