Woman sets herself on fireafter Argument with husband
The police said that the upper part of her body, including her face, was burnt.
KATHMANDU: A woman has set fire to her body in Gaindakot of Nawalparasi (Bardghat Susta East).
Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office Bed Bahadur Paudel reported that 23-year-old Kanchan Kumal, who rents a room close to Gaindakot-2 SPM Chowk, set fire to her corpse at 3 o’clock on Wednesday.
Paudel said that she was set on fire by locking her room in a minor argument with her husband.
The police said that the upper part of her body, including her face, was burnt.
The injured Kumal is being treated at Bharatpur Hospital.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Paudel, the event is being looked into by the police.
