Darchula village ward chair dies
Manorath Bhatta, the ward chair of the district's Duhu Rural Municipality Ward No. 5, who arrived at the hospital personally on Sunday, died.
KATHMANDU: A ward chair has died in Darchula.
Manorath Bhatta (48), the ward chair of the district’s Duhu Rural Municipality Ward No. 5, who arrived at the hospital personally on Sunday, died.
He visited Bhatt District Hospital in Darchula due to health issues.
Bhatta, who was referred to Dhangadhi for further treatment after treatment at District Hospital Darchula was ineffective, died on Monday morning in Bagora, Shailyashikhar Municipality, while being transported to Dhangadhi.
According to Bhatta’s relative Navaraj Bhatta, the deceased Bhatta’s body is now being kept at the Darchula District Hospital.
He was elected the ward chair from the local elections on 13 May, 2022.
