Dr. Sanju, who killed in a car accident, performed a housewarming just a week ago

KATHMANDU: Dr. Sanju Khati Khadka, who died in an car accident in Banke, conducted a housewarming only a week earlier, according to reports.

Her family had built a new house in Birendranagar Municipality-7 Itpur of Surkhet.

Sanju is the spouse of Dambar Khadka, Director of Karnali Pradesh Hospital. She only recently returned to Kathmandu. On Tuesday, she was killed in a car accident on her way home from Kathmandu.

Deceased Sanju is the daughter-in-law of Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka.

Sanju, who is a doctor by profession, is the wife of the Director of Karnali State Hospital, Dr. Damber Khadka. Damber is brother of Deputy Prime Minister Khadka.

Khadka’s dead body has been taken to Surkhet.

The car (Ba 13 Cha 8253) in which they were riding was hit by a bus (Me 1 Kha 3335) near Rapti-Sonari Rural Municipality-8 Maguva Khola in Banke around 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

Sanju, who was critically injured in the accident, died while receiving treatment at Kohalpur Medical College. Subash Adhikari, 37, of Aaappipal, Gorkha, was also killed in the tragedy.

The accident injured six individuals on the bus.

They are no longer in danger, according to Deputy Superintendent Sundar Tiwari.

According to the authorities, both the automobile and the bus were moving at a fast pace.
