Authority begins power cuts in these 6 feeders today (with Notice)

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has announced that electricity supply will be disrupted for up to seven hours daily in six feeders in the Kathmandu Valley as they are set to lay underground electric lines.

Starting from Sunday, areas covered by the Kalimati, Gothatar, Tahachal, Chaumati, and Machhegaun feeders will experience power outages for three hours daily until Friday.

Under the Gothatar feeder, the NEA will halt power supply from the Force Bus Park to Tejbinayak Chowk area today.

Tomorrow, there will be no electricity flow from the Soltimod of Kuleshwor Distribution Center to Ravibhawan under the Kalimati and Rigmon feeders.

On Tuesday, power lines under the Gothatar feeder will be cut from Force Bus Park to Tejbinayak Chowk. Wednesday will see power cuts in the Chaumati and Tahachal feeders, affecting the areas around the Army Hospital.

On Thursday, the NEA will halt electricity flow from Tejbinayak Chowk to Manatar Chowk under the Gothatar feeder.

Lastly, on Friday, there will be power outages from Dhalpak Chowk to Rarahil Chowk under the Machhegaun feeder.
