One-way traffic resumes along Prithvi Highway after 18 hours
The roadway, which had been closed since 4 p.m. on Monday owing to landslides in the Ganesh River bridge between Dhunibensi Municipality-6 and Thakre Rural Municipality-8, reopened one-way on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
MALEKHU: The road that was closed owing to landslides near the bridge in Dhading has been resumes in one direction under the Prithvi highway.
The roadway, which had been closed since 4 p.m. on Monday owing to landslides in the Ganesh River bridge between Dhunibensi Municipality-6 and Thakre Rural Municipality-8, reopened one-way on Tuesday at 10 a.m.
Santulal Prasad Jaiswar, Deputy Superintendent of Police of the District Police Office in Dhading, reported that one-way vehicles were put into service by filling gavion nets in the flooded area.
Nepal Police, the Nepali Army, and local residents worked all night.

There is a difficuly to clear the traffic gridlock in and around Dharke when it stops. The police stopped automobiles that arrived in Dhading late at night from the east-west regions near the post and market area.
Vehicles traveling east-west to Kathmandu have been stopped by police in Jogimara, Malekhu, Ghatbensi, Adamghat, and other Dhading markets and police posts.
Even though the route is only one way, passing through it is challenging.
According to the police, hundreds of vehicles have stopped on the road and will take many hours to pass.
