Rabi Lamichhane appointed as leader of RSP parliamentary party

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane has been chosen as the party’s parliamentary party leader.

The parliamentary party meeting in Kathmandu on Monday resolved to appoint President Lamichhane as the party’s leader.

Party Chief Whip Santosh Pariyar stated that party President Lamichhane was unanimously chosen as the party’s leader. Similarly, the meeting also decided to make Nisha Dangi the whip of the party.

Chief Whip Pariyar said, ‘We have chosen the leader of the parliamentary party as the party President. We have formed some committees to facilitate the parliamentary work for other technical work. I am working as the chief whip of our party, such as the bill study committee, contemporary committee, and so on. There was no warning. We have made the Honorable Nisha Dangi a whip. We also reviewed the election.’

In order to improve the effectiveness of the party’s parliamentary activities, the gathering established the Bill Study Committee, Contemporary Committees, and so on.
