Pokhara: Missing child found drowned in pond

POKHARA: A child has died after drowning in Khundepokhari in Pokhara.

A 4-year-old Suhan KC son of Sunita KC of Parbat & currently living in Pokhara-5 Dharapani Marg, died after drowning in the pond.

He was discovered dead in the pond while police were searching for him, who had been missing since Monday evening.

Armed Police and Nepal Police ‘rescue’ team searched for the child on the suspicion that he had drowned in the pond.

According to Khadka, the search began after the family notified the police when KC, who had left home to play, did not return home until late.

The police suspect that the child fell into the pond while playing.
