Congress candidate Khadka leads in Ilam-2

KATHMANDU: The vote count from Saturday’s by-election in Ilam Constituency No. 2 indicates that the Nepali Congress candidate is currently in the lead.

Nepali Congress candidate Damar Khadka has taken the lead with 657 votes in Ward No. 1 of Phakphokthum.

Similarly, the CPN-UML candidate Suhan Nemwang has received 534 votes, while independent candidate Dakendra Singh Limbu has garnered 187 votes.

Meanwhile, the Rastriya Janata Party Nepal candidate Milan Yonghang Limbu has secured 115 votes.
