Recommendation of action against 8 people including central member of NC Chinkaji
Action has been recommended against them for their activities against the party candidates in the local elections last Baisakh (April/May) and the state and representative assembly member elections in Mangsir (Nov/Dec).
POKHARA: The District Disciplinary Committee of the Nepali Congress has recommended action against 8 people including Central Member of Nepali Congress Chinkaji Shrestha.
Action has been recommended against them for their activities against the party candidates in the local elections last Baisakh (April/May) and the state and representative assembly member elections in Mangsir (Nov/Dec).
Along with Shrestha, former president of Bhimsen Thapa Rural Municipality and general committee member Ishwar Pandey, general committee member Prem Kumar Khatri, and convention representative Chet Bahadur Adhikari are present. Similarly, action has been recommended to Nepal Tarun Dal’s district working committee secretary Chitra Bhatta, Bidesh Naral, regional representative Bhim Prasad Aryal, Gandaki State committee member Shyam Prasad Lamichhane.
The audio of Shrestha speaking against the official candidate of the Congress was released.
According to the disciplinary committee, action has been recommended after complaints about not voting for official candidates in villages and writing names on social media. An investigation has now started on the complaint.
