KATHMANDU: Mohan Acharya, a Nepali Congress candidate, is leading in the House of Representatives member election. Acharya received 14,111 votes, while 21,792 votes were counted, according to the most recent vote results.

His opponent, CPN-UML candidate Chhowang Tamang, secured 6,627 votes. So far, 21,197 votes have been counted, according to Chief Electoral Officer Ram Chandra Poudel.

Out of the total number of votes cast, 594 have been were invalid. Rasuwa had 39,459 voters and 28,713 votes were cast.
