Metropolitian clearing the sidewalk of Asan

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City has begun clearing the Asan area’s footpaths.

The metropolitan has begun removing various businesses, parking lots, and other structures that have been operating in this area in a disorderly and illegal manner for a long time, beginning on Tuesday.

The metropolitan has given time until for tomorrow to remove pottery, crystal materials, toy shops, fancy goods, clay materials from the footpaths of Asan area.

There are issues in the neighborhood as a result of the shops being placed on the footpaths on both sides of Asan’s narrow streets.
