Three absconding accused arrested

DHANGADHI: MARCH. 22 – Police have arrested three more fugitives on the charge of killing Bhupendra Baduwal of Lamki in Kailali who was killed in Tikapur.

After the High Court ordered Dipayal to keep the three accused in custody for trial, Kailali police arrested them.

Sabin Jung Shahi, 26, of Thakur Baba Municipality-3, Bardiya, Bikash Khadka, 28, of Lamki Chuha Municipality-3, Kailali, and Lokendra Kunwar, 25, of Bardagoriya Rural Municipality-2 have all been arrested. The Kailali District Court had previously granted them bail.

Following the re-appeal, the High Court remanded the three in custody and ordered that the case be tried on March 19.

According to the District Police Office in Kailali, they were nabbed on Monday by a police team from the Area Police Offices in Lamki and Baunia. According to police, he will appear in Kailali District Court on Tuesday.

Previously, on December 9, Bhupendra Baduwal, 23, of Lamki Chuha Municipality in Kailali, was killed in Ward No. 1 of Tikapur Municipality. Some people have already been arrested and remanded in custody on the charge of murdering Baduwal, while others are still absconding.
