KATHMANDU: JULY 30 – Nine books have been shortlisted for the Madan Award-2077 BS. On Friday, the Madan Award Guthi made public the list of nine books, stating that one of these books will receive the Madan Award.

According to the committee, Giri Shrish Magar’s ‘Eklavya Ko Debre Hath’, Krishna Aviral’s ‘Kariya’, Kumar Nagarkoti’s ‘Kalpa-Grantha’, Bhairav ​​Bahadur Thapa’s ‘Nityakshar Bigyan’, Prabha Baral’s ‘Filingo’, Lekhnath Chhetri’s ‘Fulango’, Keshav Dahal’s ‘Moksha Bhoomi’, Jason Kunwar’s ‘Ramite’ and Historical documents of ‘Limbuwan of Aitihasik’ have been collected.

Out of these books, one will be honoured with a Madan award of Rs. 200,000. The Madan Award Guthi honours one of the best books of the year on the Kojagrat Purnima day of every Dashain with the Madan Award and the Jagdamba Shree Award for a person who has made a significant contribution to Nepali literature.
