Corona positive in 355 prisoners of Bhimphedi

MAKWANPUR: JULY 30 – A total of 355 inmates of the prison in Bhimphedi Village Municipality of Makawanpur have tested positive for coronavirus.

The infection was detected in 969 inmates of the prison during the coronavirus test. Chief of the prison Narayan Pandey informed that the inmates of Block (A) and Block (B) of the prison tested positive for coronavirus.

Prisoners who tested positive for coronavirus were kept on the upper floor of the prison with health precautions. He also said that the prisoners who were not infected are being managed on the lower floor.

Although most of the inmates in the prison have been vaccinated with the coronavirus vaccine, both those who have been vaccinated and those who have not been vaccinated have tested positive for coronavirus. Chief of the Makwanpur Health Office, Pranay Kumar Upadhyaya, said that the coronavirus was tested positive on Wednesday and Thursday.
