There will be power cuts in different places of Kathmandu today

KATHMANDU: Power supply to the areas under Maharajgunj Distribution Center in Kathmandu will be cut off today.

The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has informed that the lights will be switched on for three hours in Maharajgunj, Kapan marg, Mandikhatar, Rudramati, Phat and Golfutar.

The NEA has informed in a press release that the line is being cut from 1 pm to 4 pm for burying 11 meters pole from Gangalal Hospital under the Bansbari Feeder of Maharajgunj Distribution Center to Golfutar area.

Similarly, the line is being cut from 9 am to 5 pm today due to maintenance work on feeders under Rajbiraj Distribution Center in Janakpur of State-2. The 33 KV capacity line is being worked in the feeders under this distribution center.
