Man died in a scooter accident

KAWASOTI: A person has died in a scooter accident at Kawasoti of Nawalpur on Thursday night.

One person has died in a scooter accident in Kharakatta forest. The deceased has been identified as Jeevan Rana, 35, of Kawasoti Municipality-2, said Dilip Kumar Giri, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office.

Rana was rushed to the Madhyabindu District Hospital for treatment. According to Giri, Rana was pronounced dead at the old medical college in Bharatpur after the district hospital recommended him for further treatment.

The cause of the accident was not disclosed, police said. He said an investigation was underway into whether the accident was caused by uncontrolled driving during the night or a collision with a vehicle. – RSS
