Nepal Bank security guard killed in Saptari

KATHMANDU: A security guard working in Nepal Bank has been killed in Saptari.

A 55-year-old Parashuram Phuyal of Phatepur-2 working as a security guard at a branch in Saptakoshi Municipality-1, Phatepur was killed by a machete last night.

Locals informed the police after the body was found around 6:30 on Thursday morning.

Security guard Phuyal was on night duty.

It is not clear who and why the murder is done.

DSP Dhundiraj Neupane of Saptari Police Office said that further investigation is being conducted.
