Elderly man dies in lightning strike

KATHMANDU: A 77-year-old Darvasingh Pun, a resident of Tribeni Rural Municipality-1 Gogane, Salyan, died on Wednesday night after being struck by lightning.

He was seriously injured when the lightning struck in the kitchen room of his house and died during treatment at the district hospital in Salyan.

The police are investigating further in this regard.
