Europa League quarterfinal equation completed

KATHMANDU: The quarterfinal match of Europa League football has been completed. Eight teams will reach the quarterfinals after the second leg of the last 16 on Thursday night.

Tottenham lost to Dinamo Zagreb 3-2 on aggregate and are out of the quarterfinals. Tottenham lost 3-0 to home side Dinamo in the second game on Thursday night. Earlier in the first leg, Tottenham had won 2-0.

Meanwhile, Arsenal entered the quarterfinals with a 3-2 overall victory despite losing 1-0 in the second leg. Arsenal beat Olympiacos 3-1 in the first leg. Manchester United have also reached the quarterfinals of the Europa League. Italian club beat AC Milan 2-1 overall to make it to the last eight. United drew 1-1 in the first leg and lost 1-0 in the second leg.

Ajax defeated the Young Boys 5-0 on aggregate to advance to the quarterfinals. Villarreal beat Dynamo Kyiv, Roma beat Shakhtar Donetsk, Granada beat Molde and Slavia Prague beat the Rangers to reach the quarterfinals of the Europa League.
