Artist Pooja of Butwal dies in road accident at Tilottama

Butwal. An artist has died in an accident. Artist Puja Gahatraj died in a road accident at Tilottama in Rupandehi on Monday. According to the Lumbini State Traffic Police Office, Butwal, 26-year-old Pooja, who was riding a scooter, died after being hit by a bus near Driver Toll on Butwal-Bhairahawa Road on Siddhartha Highway.

Gahatraj, a resident of Butwal-6, was returning home from Bhairahawa in a scooter (Lu 30 Pa 8569). After the incident, the Area Police Office took the bus under control and started investigation into the incident, police said. According to the Lumbini State Traffic Police Office, Butwal, the victim succumbed to her injuries while undergoing treatment at Gahatra Crimson Hospital.
