Vaccine against Covid arrives in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. A vaccine against corona virus donated by India has arrived in Kathmandu today.

Today (Thursday) at 11:45 in the morning, the 1 million Doze Khop Air India plane arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport. Indian Ambassador to Nepal Vinay Mahan Quatra is handing over the vaccine to the Ministry of Health and Population.

One million vaccines received in the grant will be stored in the Department of Health Services at Teku. According to the ministry, the department will send the vaccine to the storage centers of each state for use in the district. Vaccine will be distributed from there.

Today, India had announced to provide one million vaccine consignment grants to Nepal. Previously, the vaccine will be given to health workers, sanitation workers, security personnel, corpse managers, ambulance drivers and others who have been deployed in the front line against the disease.
