One dies, one injured in Dadeldhura car accident

KATHMANDU: A fatal car accident in Dadeldhura has resulted in the tragic death of an individual.

The incident occurred on Tuesday in Binaulo of Amaragadhi Municipality-7, from where an Alto car with registration number Se1Ja 2067 was returning from the Nawadurga Rural Municipality.

Keshav Bhattarai of Ward No. 7 of Amaragadhi Municipality has been identified as the victim of the accident.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Deepak Karki of the District Police Office Dadeldhura, Chet Raj Bhattarai (Roshan) from the same locality has been critically injured.

He is currently undergoing treatment at Dadeldhura Hospital, with his condition being reported as serious by Dr. Navin Khadka

The cause of the accident remains undisclosed at this time.

The deceased, Bhattarai, was a former Ward Chair.

He had previously contested and lost in the ward chairman elections.
