Writ petition against President in Sharma’s bench

KATHMANDU: The writ petitions filed in the Supreme Court seeking an injunction against the verification of the Citizenship Bill have been assigned to Judge Dr. Manoj Sharma’s bench.

Five separate writs have been issued against the President. The writ petitions have been scheduled for hearing before Dr. Sharma’s single bench.

As the turn is after 30, the petitions have a lower chance of being heard.
