Wagle assigned KU Vice Chancellor

KATHMANDU: Prof Dr Rishikesh Wagle has been assigned the responsibility of Vice Chancellor (VC) to handle the day-to-day affairs of Kathmandu University (KU).

A decision to this effect was taken by University Chancellor and Prime Minister Balendra Shah on May 13 as the post was lying vacant after then VC tendered his resignation.

Prof Wagle was the former assistant Dean of the Faculty of Law at KU.

He has assumed the office today.
