Trump claims US will seize Iranian oil assets & expand energy control

KATHMANDU: U.S. President Donald Trump has said that the United States will carry out “extremely strong” action against Iran and eventually take control of its oil and gas infrastructure.

Posting on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump stated that “at some point in the not-too-distant future,” the U.S. would seize Kharg Island and other key energy facilities, aiming to establish full control over Iran’s oil and gas markets similar to actions he referenced in Venezuela.
