Tie ups with travel agencies for purchase of tour packages through Mahalaxmi credit card media

KATHMANDU: Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has introduced a new, customer-centric initiative that allows its credit cardholders to purchase domestic and international tour packages on EMI through reputed travel agencies.
Understanding the growing trend among Nepalis to travel abroad during festive seasons, the bank has launched this facility to make travel planning more secure, convenient, and financially manageable.
As part of this initiative, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank has already signed strategic business agreements with leading travel agencies, including Guru Travels Pvt. Ltd., Durbar Marg and Recent & Rhythm Tours and Travels, Uttardhoka, Kathmandu.
Under this partnership, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank credit cardholders can now use their cards to book a wide range of travel packages and conveniently convert their spending into monthly installment payments (EMI) ranging from 6 to 12 months, depending on the customer’s preference.
To further simplify the process, customers only need to submit the bill of their purchased tour package to the bank, after which the transaction will be seamlessly converted into an EMI plan. Importantly, no EMI processing fee will be charged by the bank.
By launching this initiative, Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank aims to encourage digital transactions, make festive travel more accessible, and deliver added value to its customers during the most celebrated times of the year.
