KATHMANDU: IME Life Insurance Company Limited has provided a financial assistance of Rs 500,000 to the Samata Education Foundation under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, aimed at strengthening the education sector and supporting broader social transformation.
The insurance company stated that the support reflects its continued commitment to contributing to long-term positive change in society.
IME Life has been actively engaged in various CSR initiatives across key areas such as education, healthcare, financial literacy, and social upliftment.
The newly provided funds will be utilized to enhance educational activities and promote quality education in schools operated under the Samata Education Foundation in Kailali, Dolakha, and Sindhuli districts.
The Samata Education Foundation has long been working to provide quality education at minimal cost to children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, helping improve access to learning opportunities for underprivileged communities.
Officials and stakeholders believe that this support will further strengthen the foundation’s educational programs and enable it to reach a larger number of students with improved learning resources and facilities in the future.
