KATHMANDU: In Wednesday’s T20 World Cup 2026 clash, South Africa posted 187 for 6, setting Afghanistan a target of 188 runs.
Afghanistan won the toss and chose to bowl first.
South African captain Aiden Markram was dismissed for just 5 runs, but Quinton de Kock and Ryan Rickelton stitched a crucial 114-run partnership for the second wicket.
De Kock scored 59, while Rickelton contributed 61. Dewald Brevis added a quick 23 runs to boost the total.
